Instructor Highlight: Rebecca Pedrick

We are excited to spotlight out Staff Member of the Month, Rebecca Pedrick, our Director of Training and in-house Nutrition Coach.

Rebecca has been working in the fitness industry for over 15 years and has been with Core57 for almost five years now and we LOVE having her. She’s doing amazing work to help our clients make sustainable lifestyle changes in their fitness and nutrition journeys and is a huge believer in what we stand for here at Core57.

I love working at Core 57 because we are the TOTAL package!”

In my 15+ years of experience in the fitness industry, I’ve always felt there were some gaps there, but when I found Kolleen and Core 57, I realized my values were in complete alignment with the vision for where Core 57 was headed.  We are more than a gym, I consider us to be more of a WHOLE health Wellness Center, ” says Rebecca.

Creating Customized Wellness Routines

Rebecca works with many of our clients as a nutrition coach, in addition to helping us program our training to help our clients reach their goals faster.

“We don’t just care about giving you a good workout, we want to support you in being your BEST SELF on all levels”

At Core 57 we do more than curate great workouts.

We address injury prevention, rehabilitation, and stress management via our recovery programs.

Our nutrition program offers a completely individualized path to learning how to make your food work FOR YOU, feel your best, and is 100% sustainable for the long term.

Our trainers are all completely invested in our members, and we train SMART first, always.

We recognize that our members want to live long, healthy lives and our functional style of training is hard when appropriate but also safe regardless of physical/injury status.

Shoutout to the Core57 Community

The content of our programs is vitally important to the success of our clients, but the Core57 community is what keeps clients coming back and pushing towards their goals.

“Our COMMUNITY, is simply unmatched,” says Rebecca, “the support and camaraderie are one of the strongest factors that keeps people excited about coming in every day.  We are genuinely a family, staff and members alike!”

Quick Q&A with Nutrition Coach, Rebecca

What are some of the biggest benefits of Nutrition coaching at Core 57?

The majority of people out there have been on and off different diets throughout life and ultimately still find themselves repeating cycles of weight loss and gain, only to feel increasingly desperate and frustrated.

Many of our clients are entering a different phase of life, such as empty nesting, retirement, and hormonal shifts - which can be experienced by both men and women.

Our coaching style helps you identify what has not worked for you in the past so that we can create a plan that “sticks”

We truly place the enjoyment of your current phase of life is at the forefront. We don’t want fitness and nutrition to be a burden, but instead something that helps you feel stronger, happier, and more energetic, every day!

What is your favorite aspect of Nutrition Coaching?

I am incredibly passionate about working on the mindset piece of eating, and troubleshooting tough areas of behavior change.

Our clients always comment on how their “relationship with food” improves through our program, partly because we don’t eliminate anything and there is no such thing as good and bad food.

Why do you think this approach to nutrition works for Core57 Clients?

Particularly women, but men too, at this stage of life often feel defeated and like they are fighting a losing battle against their hormones or “declining metabolism.”

And our program can help with all of that! I can confidently say that once we have finished our work together, you will have all the knowledge and tools necessary to keep your weight under control. We don’t just create meal plans or fitness programs, we dig into why the methods work and teach you how to utilize these tools on your own to create consistency in your lifestyle, whatever that looks like for you.
